Does Farbase.one work without the internet?
That is the purpose. Farbase is being built around locally stored knowledge, local retrieval and offline use. Downloads, updates and outside communications naturally require connectivity when it is available.
Is Farbase just an offline AI chatbot?
No. A normal chatbot answers from a model. Farbase uses FCIS™ to search the source-linked knowledge installed on your device, connect relevant material across subjects and build a practical answer around your situation. It can also open maps, calculations, illustrated procedures and fixed emergency paths.
What kind of knowledge will it include?
Farbase is being developed across practical life: food and agriculture, water, medicine and public health, construction, energy, engineering and repair, navigation and maps, education, communications, household continuity, community recovery, world reference, literature and culture. Planned packs will deepen particular fields and regions.
Where do the answers come from?
From the books, manuals, field guides, government publications, maps and other source material installed in Farbase. FCIS™ is designed to find relevant passages, connect several sources in one answer and keep the supporting titles and locations available for inspection.
Does Farbase upload my private information?
Never! The product direction is local-first and private by design. Household records, inventories, plans and profiles are intended to remain under the user’s control rather than becoming advertising data.
What happens when Farbase is not sure?
Farbase is designed to say so plainly. It may ask a follow-up question, show more than one reasonable option or state that it does not have enough reliable information. When a wrong answer could be dangerous, Farbase must not guess.
How will the optional knowledge packs work?
Farbase.one Core is intended to be the complete starting product. Planned subject and regional packs will deepen specific capabilities as one-time additions rather than subscriptions.
